Duncan Junor is a Senior Director at Halliburton Company based in Houston Texas. In this role, he reports directly to the President, Group Business Lines and coordinates strategic direction and business growth.
Duncan has accountability for driving Halliburton’s Digital Asset™ programs and initiatives for the company as a whole and ensures appropriate investment and capability development across all of Halliburton’s upstream products and services including drilling, evaluation, completion and production businesses.
Duncan has 23 years of experience in the exploration and production industry, predominantly in the upstream development and midstream production sectors and has developed significant experience across multiple aspects of the oilfield life cycle during his career. He has held senior management roles with Brown & Root Energy Services, Landmark Graphics, and Halliburton Energy Services’ product service lines after joining Halliburton in 1990 from BP Exploration’s North Sea UK operations team.
Duncan completed his undergraduate studies in electrical and electronic engineering and holds a master’s degree in oil and gas engineering, both from the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. He also has studied management in energy at Rice University in Houston, and business management at the Mays Business School of Texas A&M University.
Duncan is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
