HOUSTON, Texas -
Energistics, the upstream industry's open standards consortium, has
elected Peter Eilsø Nielsen of StatoilHydro to its Board of
Directors. Peter is Chief Geologist for Production and the Process
Owner for Technology and New Energy for StatoilHydro. Peter spearheaded
Statoil's involvement with Energistics during the past several years and
will continue in that role with StatoilHydro. Statoil and Norsk
Hydro, now StatoilHydro, have been some of the strongest supporters and
users of the Energistics collaborative technologies portfolio.
