Joey Magsipok joins Energistics in the role of Technical Analyst, bringing 25 years of technical, analytical and project management experience that includes 15 years with Shell. His primary responsibility is to provide technical support for the Energistics standards. This includes schema development and maintenance, certification program and development kit support, and other duties as assigned. His knowledge of web services, implementations of XML, WSDL and XSLT, JSON and REST, make him a valuable asset to the team and community.
Previously, Joey was an Application Specialist for Shell for 15 years where he wore various hats in business analysis, application & product development and support, project supportability, process improvement, compliance, testing, and incident, change & release management.
Joey received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of the Philippines in Manila. He holds certifications in both Project Management (PMP) and ITIL.
