With over 21 years in the industry, Prasad Thrikutam is currently Global head of the Energy, Utilities and Services (EUS) practice and Member of the board - Infosys China. He is also responsible for the Systems Integration (SI) practice globally within Infosys.
Mr. Thrikutam joined Infosys in 1995, as a regional head of business operations in the US. Later he was their leader for the Hi-tech and Discrete Manufacturing unit from 2004 to 2008.
Mr. Thrikutam is a frequent speaker at a number of industry events including events organized by University of Austin, MIT, University of Arizona Eller School of business and the Fuqua School of business at Duke University. In addition to service on the Board of Energistics, Mr. Thrikutam also serves on the Executive Committee of the 2010 Intelligent Energy Conference.
Prior to joining Infosys, Mr. Thrikutam headed the regional operations at a leading IT company in India selling solutions to the enterprise market. Prior to which he was at Bosch Gmbh, playing leadership roles in Manufacturing and Operations areas.
Mr. Thrikutam received his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bangalore University and his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management.
