INDUSTRY RESOURCES

Energistics, as the standards organization for data transfers in the upstream energy industry, also hosts a number of data standards that were not developed and are not curated within the realm of Energistics’ SIG activities.  The organizations, companies or informal groups that developed these standards saw the Energistics infrastructure as the optimal place to locate information and offer the possibility to download files.  Energistics is glad to make these standards available “as is” for the benefit of developers, data management experts and other professionals within the industry.

NDR Data Quality Guidelines

This is an initiative of National Data Repository (NDR) Workgroup, donated to Energistics.  Click the link below to go to the “Standards Download” page, where the document can be downloaded after providing some basic information.  These guidelines are not specifications but were developed by consensus among the companies who participated and reviewed them in conjunction with three NDR conferences, 2012, 2014 and 2017.
You will find the NDR Data Quality Guidelines under the Available Third Party Materials tab on the Downloads page.
